Why we built it
Alex and I have been in the landscaping business for the last three years. The whole time, we were paying for other software that never did exactly what we wanted, and cost too much money for what it gave back. So this past winter, we decided to build our own. We wanted it to actually work for us.
We didn't want to sit at a computer doing the office work ourselves:
- Typing up the invoices.
- Writing out the quotes.
- Rescheduling the route when the day changed.
- Texting every client back.
So we built it around an AI we named Zentra, and it did all of it for us. We ran our own business on it first, then handed it to a few friends in the trade. They all said the same thing: get this out to more landscaping businesses.
That's when we opened it up. Everyone who joins now comes in as a founding member, helping us shape the software our industry actually needs, and getting their own employee in Zentra, just like we do.
We're going to change this industry by giving owners back time with their family and friends, and taking weight off their shoulders.
